Mustache silverplate mug with gorgeous etchings and an Oxydonor Victory (see below and last slide)

Mug has beautiful patina with some discoloration in bottom. The design on the outside is absolutely gorgeous.

AI:19th-century medical device considered a form of quackery. 

Origin: It was invented and manufactured by Dr. Hercules Sanche in Detroit, Michigan, and patented on June 24, 1890. 

Purpose: It was marketed as a device that could cure all diseases by supposedly forcing oxygen into the body through the skin via a process called "diaduction". 

Design: It consists of a metal cylinder, often nickel-plated, which was meant to be placed in a jar of iced water while the user was connected to it. 

Collectible Value: These devices are sought after by collectors of medical antiques and historical artifacts.
